On behalf of the Department of Technology Enhanced Language Education, Pedagogical University in Krakow, in association with the Department of Applied Linguistics, Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, we would like to invite lecturers, professors, students, and aspirants to participate in the international ‘SUSTAINABLE CALL, ATTAINABLE CALL PL-CALL CONFERENCE 2023’.
❗️The conference will be held on 26-27 May 2023 in Krakow.
“Sustainability has become a hot topic in the 21st century, in relation to society, economics, politics, education and most of all, the environment” (Blin et al. 2017). Therefore, the purpose of the PL-CALL 2023 conference is to consider various aspects of sustainability: the dynamism of change, disruption, and responsibility. The PL-CALL 2023 conference will also look at a series of other hot topics: AI, AR, and VR in computer-assisted language learning.

We call for papers on:
🔹Covid-19 distance education: the lessons learned, the practices sustained, the battles yet to be won;
🔹Old tools, new tools (Moodle, etc.)
🔹Virtual and augmented reality in the language class;
🔹Artificial Intelligence and how it enhances language education;
🔹Other current challenges CALL faces.

The authors of the papers read at the conference will be invited to submit their work for publication in Peter Lang Studies in Computer Assisted Language Learning.
The timeline:
📌20 February 2023: deadline for abstract submission
📌1 March 2023: paper acceptance notification/conference registration starts
📌26/27 May 2023: PL-CALL Conference
📌31 October 2023: Paper submission for publication
