IEU Took Part in the Meeting of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of UkraineOn September 25, 2025, representatives of the European Medical School, together with colleagues from leading Ukrainian universities, joined the work of the Union of Rectors. The meeting was hosted by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The main focus was on the most pressing issues of higher education development:• summarizing the results of the 2025 admission campaign, discussing improvements to admission rules, the distribution of state-funded places, and university financing mechanisms;
• admission specifics for universities located in frontline regions, as well as for institutions of technical, medical, agricultural, artistic, and humanitarian fields;
• current trends in European higher education and challenges related to the education of international students in Ukraine.
Strategic emphasis was placed on aligning Ukrainian higher education with European standards, which opens new opportunities for institutional development, strengthening university autonomy, and effectively representing their interests at both the national and international levels.
For IEU, participation in such events is another step toward strengthening partnerships, implementing innovative educational solutions, and creating a high-quality academic environment for students.
