Tactical Medicine — knowledge that saves lives!
The European Medical School, in partnership with the National University of Trade and Economics, successfully conducted a tactical medicine course that became a vivid example of practice-oriented learning.
Key feature of the course — maximum practice!
Each participant was provided with a tourniquet, so everyone had the opportunity to practice the correct application skills.
They studied and practiced stopping bleeding using wound packing, pressure bandages, and other methods.
A separate section was dedicated to providing first aid in cases of airway obstruction, which is critically important in combat and emergency situations.
An incredible team of instructors:
• Mykola Kvach — head trainer of the course, head of “Harmony of Health” clinics
• Anna Lobanova — surgical intern
• Vladyslav — student volunteer
• The team of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Continuous Professional Development
Thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the instructors, participants gained unique practical experience and, most importantly, the knowledge and skills that can save human lives.
We are sharing photos from the event — emotions, actions, practice!
