Training “Healing Wounds” at MEU: knowledge, practice, and good deeds

On September 26–27, the “Wound Healing” training took place, bringing together 9 healthcare professionals from the city. Despite explosions and air raid alerts, they found the time and strength to learn — because the quality of patient care depends on their knowledge and skills.
The head of Center of Family Medicine No. 1 in Kramatorsk, Alexandr Vlasenko, supported the team and provided resources for staff development.
Over two days, participants:
• studied modern approaches to wound management;
• practiced using ultrasound to measure the ankle-brachial index;
• trained in compression techniques;
• tested sensitivity with tuning forks and monofilaments;
• explored different types of wound dressings and healing materials.
The training proved that even in a frontline city, it is possible to implement modern medical standards — and as early as tomorrow, this will help patients receive faster and higher-quality care.
And one more important detail: the participants raised 2,700 UAH for the army — to purchase drones and equipment for the 3rd UAV Company of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
Knowledge works for people, and contributions work for our victory.
