The conference invites scientific, academic staff of higher education institutions, members of scientific establishments and organizations, practitioners, students actively engaged in economic and social science research.

Approved articles in English will be published in two months after the conference as a special edition of the journal MATEC Web ofConferences (eISSN: 2261-236X / publisher: EDP Sciences) and will be indexed in the database: Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index).      

The average duration of the inclusion of articles in Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index) is 12 months or more. It does not depend on the conference organizing committee or publisher and cannot affect the indexation. ISTSML 2021 uses the EDP Sciences format in one column for the work. Therefore, to prepare your submission, please follow the editorial guidelines of the MATEC conference and Microsoft Word recommendations.         

The conference will consist of the following sections:

Section 1. Sustainable transport and environmental economics.

Section 2. Maritime logistics and supply chain management.

Section 3. Transport system analysis and economic evaluation.

All articles will be subject to the double plagiarism check: the first one is conducted by conference organizers and the second one by the publishing house. In case of plagiarism, the article will be refused to publication without refunding.

Requirements for articles to be published in theMATEC Web of Conferences journal:   

1. One accepts unique articles containing scientific novelty, which have not been published previously and have not been submitted for publication to other publishing houses.  

1. The article topic should correspond to the conference focus areas. 

1. Article language – English.

1. The article should be prepared according to the MATEC Web of Conferences journal requirements. The templates for article preparation can be found at https://www.matec-conferences.org/doc_journal/woc/woc_1col.docx or on the conference website: https://istsml-conf.ge/index.php/publication.    
2. The article should be submitted in the doc (docx) format.

1. The article should contain 6-8 pages.

1. Color images are allowed.  

1. The Pdf format of the article should not exceed 1 MB.

1. References should be drawn up according to the АРА style: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references/examples.  

1. At least 10 sources of references are required, which have been published for the past 10 years.

1. Self-citing in the list of references is unwelcome and is allowed (if necessary) in the volume of no more than 10%. 

1. Each author can be included in the authoring team of no more than two articles.  
2. The authoring team should include no more than five authors.

1. Presentation (personal participation) or video presentation (remote participation) of the article or report at least by one representative of the authoring team at the conference is obligatory.

Requirements for submission of ISTSML 2021 materials:  

Authors have to submit the below-mentioned materials until April 18, 2021, to : 

• An article in the journal format (6-8 pages). 

• A consent form for publication signed by at least one author for each article.

• Information about authors.

As part of the conference, one will also issue the collection of key points revealed in reports.

Requirements for submission of materials to the Collection of key points:

Authors should submit key points until May 25, 2021.

Key points are shown in the template (3-4 pages).

Language of key points: Ukrainian or English.

Registration procedure:

Persons desiring to take part in the conference should fill out the form and send it as a separate file (the example of filling is given below), as well as send the following files to to the organizing committee until April 18, 2021 (inclusive):     

• The article for the MATEC Web of Conferences journal (6-8 pages);
• key points of the report (3-5 pages); 

• an electronic (scanned) copy of payment confirmation of the registration fee.  

Payment details will be sent to conference participants along with organizing committee’s information about the approval of provided materials.

The cost of publication in the MATEC Web of Conferences journal is 400 EUR and more per one article (depending on the amount of co-authors).  

Conference participants, if desired, can additionally publish key points of reports and obtain a printed copy of the collection of key points, as well as undertake an internship (advanced training) in the amount of 180 hours (6 credits) in order to receive a corresponding certificate. The cost of participation is 150 EUR.

If desired, one can additionally order the translation of articles into English, which costs 150 UAH/1 page.  

Requirements and structure of key points:

• A title of the report in the middle of the line (in English only)

• In one space, at the right: author’s full name, position, full title of the institution where the author studies or works.   

• General page parameters – Microsoft Word, format – А4; upper, lower, right, left fields – 2 cm; font – Times New Roman. Font size – 14 pt; line spacing – 1.5.    

• Volume of materials: 3-4 full pages.

• The list of references (without repeats) is drawn up at the end of text below the title ‘List of references’. Footnotes are designated by brackets, specifying the source number according to the list separated by commas – page number (s), for example: [5, p. 16].
